Hiya
Slightly panicking, decided that we want to go to chef mickeys whilst on hol (go on the 28th feb) but don't seem to get round to doing it, if i am completely slack and don't manage to do it before we fly, what do you think the chances are that i will get booked up if i enquire whilst there, there are 7 adults 2 children and 2 infants
Thanks
Ali

I purposely didn't make any ADRs when I went with my sons last October half-term. I asked at the concierge desk a day or so after we arrived and made all the ressies I wanted and we were only there for a week. If it wasn't for the fact you are a large party, I'd be tempted to say it can be done. BUT you're a big group so if your hearts are set on it, give Disney a call...

When we went we made some ADR's on the day (Jan 2008), and I think Feb is pretty quiet too, so you you should be abel to get some ADRS.

Saying that Chef Mickeys is VERY popular we went for 2 weeks and were only able to get an ADR for CM in the second half of our trip for a 9pm slot and we phoned about 6 weeks before we went.

Hopefully you could pick up a cancellation - can you not trying phoning before you go?

If you do it when you arrive and are flexible with dates and times you could be ok - that being said as the poster above has pointed out, it's a big party to fit in. Give them a call if you do have a time in mind - it doesn't take long and they're always very helpful.

We don't eat much onsite but when we do we either just turn up or goto guest relations when we are there, either DTD or in one of the parks.
This Xmas was crazy, never seen crowds like them. Went into MGM guest relations and asked about dinner that evening, she told me they were booked up in everywhere in the park for that day, I said thats OK I want Trails End, we had a choice of when we wanted to eat and it was mid afternoon.
Booked Boma about 3 days before while at MK, even though the parks were packed out we had a choice of times to eat. Again in park Dining were booked up for that day.
I would say if you want to eat at a certain place within a short timeframe you need to book as soon as you get to 1st Guest relations you can, thats if you don't want to ring up before(I won't I hate phones, hoping for online booking for our Aug trip) If you are willing to go a different night or eat at an odd time then you have a lot more chance, although more people harder it is, we are only family of 3 (4 at Xmas)

Hiya
Thanks for your replies, think i'd better just pull my socks up and get them phoned, i have done adr's previously so don't know why i am being slack, think being a new mum has killed a few million brain cells.
Thanks
Ali
