Will I Get a New Confirmation?

I made a 5 night reservation last tuesday. The next day I cancelled the first night - so now we are taking a 4 night trip. I received the first confirmation (for the 5 nights) yesterday. I figured since I cancelled one night the following day I would get my new confirmation today. I just got my mail and no new confirmation.

I would prefer to have it in writing that we are only staying 4 nights. Does Disney usually issue a new confirmation when changes are made? Or should I call and request one? Thanks!~

The last time I changed a reservation and added a night, I got a new confirmation in the mail.

I received a new confirmation after cutting 2 nights off of our trip.

I have called Disney over 10 times in the past year to modify my reservation and have always received a new conformation in the mail. Sometimes my conformations came within one week of calling, other times it'd take 2 weeks before I saw it in the mail.

A CM told me it can take up to 2 weeks for a new conformation to come in the mail. If it doesn't come in the mail 14 days from the day you called, then call back and have them mail you another one.
