Will I be cold at dinner time?

First, let me say that I'm chilly all the time  . I'm the type that has one of those personal ceramic heaters at her desk, and it's on so often that I've tripped circuit breakers in my office :hyper: .

With that in mind, I was thinking that I should probably set some sweaters aside for our September cruise. Or, is it warm enough on the ship???

Any suggestions?

I am cold many times too. I would definitely bring a sweater to dinner, also the theaters. I know one night at the Buena Vista theater I brought the extra blanket that they give you in your room.

It can be chilly in the theatres certainly and I was cold a couple fo times in the restaurants as well. A shawl or evening jacket which just took the chill off my shoulders seemed to do the trick.

I'm always cold too. Even in the summer, I get cold in air conditioning. Whenever we cruise, I always pack a few sweaters to take to dinner and the shows. The air conditioning can make the rooms a little chilly.

For those of you who are normally cold I would bring a sweater. I am one who is never cold. always hot in the house, the car, etc. and I was chilly in the dining rooms at times. This time I will have a sweater with me.

Thanks for staring this threat... I had not thought of this, but my spouse is one of those cold type people and I am the exact opposite. I like to sleep witht hte windows open all day and night while she is wearing a Parka

Great advice and comments...:)

I'm an always-cold type person, and I was concerned about this when we cruised a few weeks ago on the Magic. However, I found that I had no problem at meals at all, either with being cold or hot. Two nights I was in a sleeveless dress and one night in a dress with only spaghetti straps and I was just fine. Our table was on the very side of the dining rooms, so maybe we were a little out of the path of the a/c.

I am another one who is always cold. So much so, that our stateroom attendant noticed before we left the port in January. He said that all of the thermostats are programmed within a certain range. Within a few minutes, two workers were there to reprogram our thermostat and check the system. The stateroom attendant, Raymond, put an extra blanket on my bed at night. I got cold at dinner, especially on formal night in a sleeveless evening gown. I guess Raymond couldn't fix that. Next cruise, I will definitely take a sweater for evenings and buy a gown with sleeves. DH and DD were warm enough, so I guess I should pack some warmer PJs too. Castaway Cay was too cold for me to go swimming. The wind was blowing quite a bit. However, the funnel of the ship blocked the wind and I had the pool all to myself for about three hours. :sunny:
