my brother doesn't come to dinner with us at Akershus? He isn't able to stay the entire trip with us but he doesn't know when he is leaving. I have him as part of our ressie but if he doesn't come, will I be charged? Also, if he decides in time, will i be able to modify my ressie AND be able to keep it?

Yes, you will be charged whatever Akershaus' current "penalty" is for a no-show. I think it might be $10, but I'm not sure.

Reducing your reservation by 1 normally involves cancelling and re-booking. Have you looked to see if there are reservations for 4? Of course, if you don't know what he's doing yet, probably not.

I know there is a window of time in which you can alter your ADR witout penalty. I think it is 48 hours, but I'm not positive on that. Otherwise, as you had to give your credit card info to hold your ADR yes, you will be charged a small no show fee.
