Will I be able to plan Fps for my DD if she's staying in another room?

Friends of ours are traveling for a week over Presidents Day weekend - They are a family of 3, and their DD12 is our oldest DD's BF. We are also taking a shorter trip during same time frame as my DD10 is competing in a gym meet. It would be Me, DH, DD10, DD8 and DS4. Our oldest, DD12, can stay with her friend for fun (why not they're staying at BCV!), and it also allows us to stay in a room that accommodate 5. Will I be able to purchase her tickets and plan for her FPs? Though she'll be with her friend sometimes, she'll mainly be with us during the day because she wants to watch her sister compete...so she'll eat with us, ride with us - though I'm sure we'll meet up here and there with our friends and her hosts.

I know one CM told me I'd just have to call IT and they could help set this up for me...but has anyone done this? How well did it work?

Yes you can. You'll just want the profile your friend will have for your daughter to be switched to the one you manage (since I imagine your daughter doesn't have a MDE). That way your daughters MB she gets from that room reservation can be linked to the tickets you buy and her FP and allow her a 60 day booking window. If you don't have them combined it will think they are 2 different people. You want to also make sure you are the manager of the account since it is your daughter.

I did this with an adult who was managed by another friend since they didn't have their own MDE and it worked seamlessly. IT asked which one was the right and only D.L. and then made that right and only managed account linked to everyone who was traveling in different rooms as a friend but the account was only managed by his partner.

I'm assuming then we'll also be able to have her MB linked with different ME information. She will have the same Magical Express times as we do, not our friends since they're trip is longer on both ends.

Yes we all had different ME information since some of us were staying longer than others. You just provide her flight information and reservarion # when booking MDE.
