Will I be able to get a Fantasmic FP+@4pm in late Aug,

I am planning to start a day in Epcot and use Soarin as my primary FP. After the morning in Epcot we plan to go back to the hotel for a swim/nap/shower and go to DHS and get there around 4. Will I have a shot at a F! FP that late in the day? It will be the first time in a long time that we will try to see the show without using the dining package. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've done it about that late about that time of year. Can't say with certainty of course, but I like your chances.

We were able to get Fantasmic FPs at 7:30p for the only show at 8:30... this was last month and the amphitheater did fill to capacity.

We were able to on our trip last August. We got to the park around 5 or 6 and were able to grab the FP for the show with no issues. There was still plenty available, we are planning to do it again this year.
