So we just got back from a great trip to DLR. My Brother in law swore he saw will i am of the Black eyed peas in Downtown Disney with a some plaid CMs the morning of Tuesday the 7th. Did anyone else see him and did he have anything to do with the park closing early that night?

On the 7th was a private party with a band playing. I can't recall who it was but it wasn't the Black Eyed Peas, I believe it was The Goo Goo Dolls.

I was there the same time, and in Downtown Disney for dinner on the 7th. Didn't see anyone famous though :confused3 We tried asking people who the park was closing early for, and couldn't ever get an answer. We looked at some people going into the park, but didn't see anyone famous or rich looking. Looked like normal people :rotfl2:

I sure would like to know though. All 3 weekend nights we were there the fireworks were cancelled, but they sure managed to put them off for the private party. Yes, I'm a little bitter we didn't get to see the fireworks!!

With Fantasmic already down, that only left us with World of Color, my second time and just as bad of experience as the first. Great show. Horrible crowds and organization and view. Its just a roll of the dice if you get a good seat. You line up and think you can get a good spot, then the let the rope down and its a chaotic mad dash to the good spots. I hate that!!

I believe the party was for employees of Intel.

I'll have to let my Brother in law know it was for intel employees. We were very curious what was going on. My husband said he could see the fireworks from our hotel and he said it was quite the show.

I agree with PP about World of Color. This was our second time watching it and it is a crazy mess getting into the viewing area.

I've heard of so many celebrity sightings here, but have never seen any, myself. The closest we got was Paris Hilton and Kelly Osborn going two days after we left.

I met Jack Nicholson at Goofy's Kitchen and got his autograph. This was a a long while back, he was there celebrating his daughter's birthday. I had my book and really wanted his autograph. Although now, I think I was rude (I was only 11 at the time), I went to his table and interrupted him, but said sorry and asked nicely as we were leaving. I remember his voice so clearly, he said "Certainly!" and signed my book! Best character I ever saw at Goofy's Kitchen :)

Just to confirm as I work for Intel...yes it was a private party at DL. Yes Goo Goo Dolls played. No Black Eyed Peas did not play, but Will I Am is a spokeperson for Intel and our Director of Creative Innovation and I heard from my boss (who was there) that he was in town and had been seen around.

Same! :sad2:

I always read my trashy tabloid magazines and see the pictures of celebrities with their families at Disneyland but I've never caught any! Tom Cruise was pictured riding the teacups with Suri two weeks ago, and Reese Witherspoon was there with her whole family a couple of months ago.
