Will have EP, what are the rides that are worth queuing for

Okay! I work for Universal so this is my opinion! It also depends on the time of year you're going and who's going with you! If you can let me know I might be able to help you out more!

Ripsaw Falls
Reign of Kong

Thank you so much!! We'll be going in March and I'll have a 12 year old and a 9 year old with me. First time for them, I haven't been in over 12 years!! We'll have the EP but don't know if that means that we'll miss some of the theme in the queue or if we are going to be able to walk through it with EP. Thank you, thank you!!!

I don't think he understood the question, it was which rides are worth seeing the queue and I believe you just got a list of which rides are worth going on.

Agree- can you clarify? If you mean which regular lines are themed so well that you don't want to miss them I'd say

mummy
Spider-Man

I was thinking the same thing....I don't think it's much different doing the long Minions line, except you'll wait forever and see little clips with Minions.

The greenhouse at the castle (Forbidden Journey) is neat, if you are a Potter fan, but I wouldn't wait terribly long to see it either, you'll also see a bit more of the castle in the regular line.

When I have EP I could not care less about the theming in the lines enough to wait in standby. I know I miss stuff and I don't care. There's a whole part of MIB's queue that I've only read about. I'm good with that.

That makes sense, I was like whoa! that a lot of rides with cool queues...

Yes, that is exactly what I meant. So you think the Mummy and Spider-man are worth making the regular line for but the rest is ok to skip and go straight to EP. Thanks!

Thanks for chiming in!

i would add ET and use the regular line.
if you are an ET fan, you won't want to miss a few things that the ep line does skip

IF the regular line was somewhat short (early morning/late day) I'd go through because you get a little backstory that makes a few things make sense during the ride BUT I don't think it's important enough to waste a long time in line for it.

Transformers queue is repetitive and unless you're dying to see "all sparks" I woul use EP line, spiderman is a bunch of dusty outdated props they were taking a picture as a souvenir I don't know if still going on, same unless you're eager to get the picture skip the queue
Now do walk the queue of both harry potter rides they are part of the fun.
EP The Simpsons the queue is just a queue. I liked the mummy but i wouldn't if the wait is more than 20 min

When the line is not too long for Forbidden Journey, I usually linger in several of the rooms (Dumbledore's office, a classroom) and in the room with the talking portraits to listen/watch the shows and let the others rush by me. There is a lot to see, the part with the fat lady picture is often missed too. You used to be able to do a 'castle tour' also just to walk through, I think that had a different portrait gallery, but now that there is EP I don't know if that is still available.

I like the bank at Gringott's but could skip the rest of the line. Kong was interesting to walk through once, but I had to keep peeking around corners and into holes to make sure I wasn't startled by a scare person.

You coudl also use EP to ride the HP attractions then see about being able to take a tour of the queue. I know they at least used to let people just walk through the queue lines without going on the ride as there were many that couldn't/didn't want to ride but still wanted to see Hogwarts and Gringotts. So that way you can still experience those queues (which are both worth it and amazing. pretty much attractions themselves) but still be able to get a short wait with EP.

Outside of the HP stuff I'd say Mummy is kind of neat if the wait isn't real long, but not worth it for a long line. 20 minutes tops.
Transformers and Spider-man are both somewhat interesting to see and help tell the stroy of the ride. Both kind of act as an extended pre-show. However I don't think either is worth more than 15 minutes if you have an EP option.
Would say the same for Kong. The queue is pretty neat, but it doesn't even really set up a story any so if it has any lengthy wait I'd skip that line as well.

Would say those are the only ones really worth it. Honestly the HP ones are the only truly must see queues and as I said theres a chance that you would be able to walk through the queue without actually waiting in the line. If that is not an option I woudl jsut try to go there first during early entry and hit both bfore it gets busy, then use EP for any rerides.
