Will anyone be saying "hanname" a year from now? Two years?

I don't think a word can survive if it can have any meaning the user desires. If a word has any meaning, then ultimately it has no meaning.

My guess is that unless hanname develops a true meaning (or meanings), agreed upon by all, then it will survive a while at the hands of a sentimental few, and then die.

I would hate to see that happen. It's a great word. I've been following the thread but have not participated much. What do you hannamians think?

I think it will survive here. It will come out when you least expect it and give you a smile. :goodvibes

Remember, hanname is our DIS/DVC family and all the warm good feelings you can imagine. Why would that not survive?? TGFH! Thank God for Hanname :goodvibes :sunny: :grouphug:

I agree. I might be new here on the DVC boards but hanname came to me when I needed it most. I was ROFR but then was hannamed to BWV. I believe....:)
