Will Hagrid’s coaster offer Express Pass?

Does anyone know when it will start offering it? I'd really like to ride it, but I don't want to wait in a crazy long line.

No one knows. People are hoping soon, but honestly I think the earliest I think we'd get it is the towards the end of fall / winter of 2019, perhaps beginning of 2020.

It's only one attraction, but it took the other attractions forever to get EP. While I think they will not wait as long since it is just an attraction and not a whole section, I think it's going to take awhile for the wait to die down. Not only you have the opening hype and summer, but GE at Disney will further boost attendance in towards the end of August I would imagine will take over September too (even with kids going back to school), and you have the take the general popularity of HP as a whole.

So to me late fall / winter makes the most sense (at the earliest). I say perhaps the beginning of 2020, because then there is the holiday season and peak time to consider. As that boosts wait times in general and would definitely boost even more for something new like Hagrid's coaster.

Express Pass wasn’t added to Forbidden Journey, Gringotts and Hogwarts Express until the beginning of July 2017 so that’s 7 years after Forbidden Journey opened and 3 years for the other 2 rides so who knows. It could be after a couple of months like Kong or it could be years like the other HP rides.....

Wasn’t there some sort of agreement that was made with JK Rowling that allowed EP to finally be added? That was the story I always heard. So I am hoping that the deal that allowed EP for the other HP rides extends to Hagrids.

Could just be urban legend, but it was something about giving all park goers equal access to the WWoHP. But that doesn't explain why it was finally allowed.

I'm seeing rumors they will do a virtual queue, meaning you'll get a return time and then wait in line.
