Notice it says for the weekend! Woot woot!

I know you didn't ask about this, but I'd be sure to buy the Four Leaf Clover pin today! I expect that to be gone tomorrow, remember the Valentine pin was sold for 1 day only..the heart chairs stayed longer though.

i personally think all weekend because they could just take out them all on monday instead of having to do it 2morrow. VMK is lazy like that lol

I sort of remember the valentine's day pin only lasting one day... huh. VMK seems to like bumping up the rarity of items, and now that they're more expensive maybe they don't feel like they need to take them out sooner? I dunno.

Do costumes and hats tend to become more valuable than pins because they are more visible? Or ....?

Just trying to learn what is worth investing in for future "security." (You never know when your character may need credits to send a kid to college, right?! hahaha!)

Well I don't trade much, so I might not have the best advice, but I would consider them more valuable because people tend to want them more. Part of it is the visibility factor. Although in terms of pins, I'd say magic is right up there with costumes and hats. I'm not a fan of furniture because I don't spend much time in my room and I think a good amount of players are like me --- we just play the games and hang out with our friends, not necessarily in guest rooms. I do change my clothes a lot and I adore the hats. I think they're a more worthwhile investment because people are more likely to use them --- therefore more likely to want them and to trade good stuff for it. Also when people come to trade with you, they usually just ask for what you're wearing or what pins you have in your profile, because obviously that's all they can see. Unless of course you're in your room, which isn't always the case

If you can afford it though, I'd recommend buying at least one of each special item that comes out for the weekend. You never know when it might turn into a rare item

Also, I'm pretty sure the Valentine's Day Pin was only out on V-day and V-day alone. But the Princess dress and heart chairs stuck around. I distinctly remember ppl begging for it on the 15th and went to look myself to be certain it was gone.

I have tracked every item in my spreadsheet, including release date and expiration date and the expiration date I have for the Vday pin was 2/16/06 - the Expiration on the heart chairs was 2/19/06 and dresses was 2/26/06
