Will Dollar accept a debit mastercard ?

We do not have a MAJOR credit card. We have used debit with no trouble at Enterprise in the past has anyone used one at dollar. There will be plenty of freed up cash/space for them to put a hold on same as for the hotel to use.

We used a visa debit card for a two week rental last September. They will put a hold for the amount of rental plus I believe 10%. We had no trouble at all. Dollar was fast and friendly.
