Will doing online checkin help us get our room any faster?

The on-line check in is designed to reduce Cast Members and the time wait for anyone checking in to a Disney property. Designed for CRO Guests, the DVC accesses the program through the DVC website.

It is not made for the DVC so anything unique to the DVC is not addressed ie: DDP, room requests, etc.

I know that in our case, early check in deleted our room request and didn't save us any time.

We did the On-Line Check-In for our arrival at BCV on Easter Sunday. We arrived at 12:30 pm, the check in process was quicker but our room was not ready. We went to lunch at Beaches-n-Cream and our room was ready at 2:30 pm.

did online check in apr 28 with cs plan, and no problem. I did have cc on file. tomorrow I check in kidani, delddp and this time I didnlt put a cc on file so I know they will need it.
my first time service was very good..saved me waiting for about 5 other families

Checked into BWV today at 12:30 using online check-in. It did not save me any time as there was not a single other person checking in at all. My room was not ready, My ADR's were not in my packet, and they never said a word about my husband celebrating his birthday. Probably won't use it again as it really does not do much good.

I added the CS plan onto our reservation months ago. I checked in online this afternoon. I didn't see it anywhere....should I be concerned or is it not supposed to be there?

Dining plans are not visible on the website. The problem with our missing requests occurred when the DVC database is downloaded to the resort database 10 days prior to you arrival date.

So my question is...when were you charged for your dining plan? The day that you actually arrived? On the card you put on file?

I just looked and I checked in the 28th and the charge showed up the 30th on my statement

also, now checked into kidani. they did a great job trying to make us feel welcomed. got a cute baobob tree decoration. they collected my card info when I checked in and my dlxddp was active right away. my room was ready (about 930 am) when we checked inso far online check in has worked well. again if you have very specific room requests I would avoid using it. I get the impression they don't see those requests when you check in this way. the fellow didnt know I had asked for a pool view..which with the current things going on here was not physically possible for them to fill for me. so I can watch a bus stop from where I sit
