Will characters sign casts?

My youngest DD12 just broke her wrist on Memorial day in a bike accident. We are leaving for WDW one month from today. Hoping to get a waterproof liner under the cast she gets today. Does anyone know if the characters will sign a cast?

Sure. In fact, a CM who posts here has suggested asking the doctor to draw a line on the cast to show where it will be cut so that the characters won't sign there, so that when the cast comes off, you'll have a unique souvenir.

Yes I have seen some characters sign a cast at the rock your disney side
