Will Call Kiosk - At Resort or Park Entrance?

Hi All! I've spent a bit of time trying to figure this out, but the info I received from Costco appears to contradict what I am seeing in these forums. Background: I purchased a package from Costco. We will be staying at the Portofino. We purchased the "Stay 2, get 3" tickets.

I thought from what I've read here that I would be picking up the tickets from the kiosk at the resort. However, when reading the fine print, the Costco confirmation email states:

To pick up your tickets, follow the signage to the Will Call Kiosks located at the Universal Orlando Resort™ theme park entrances. At the kiosk machine, you must swipe a credit/debit card matching the last name of the lead traveler on your itinerary for identity verification only. For additional security, you’ll be required to insert your confirmation number located in the Ticketing section of your itinerary, or the phone number you supplied at the time of booking. If you require assistance, you may present your valid Photo ID, matching the lead last name on the reservation, your confirmation page and/or the phone number you supplied at the time of booking at any Universal Orlando front gate ticket window to receive your tickets, which will be reserved in Open Orders under the name of the lead traveler. Revised reservations must be picked up at any Universal Orlando Resort™ theme park entrance

Anyone have the answer? Do I need to head to the theme park entrances, or can I just pick them up at the Portofino? Thanks!

I didn't buy from Costco, but I did purchase park tickets and hotel separately online. When we stayed at HRH in late April, the (very nice!) young man checking us in told us to go to the Resort ticket desk after we' gotten our room keys for Express.

We did, and I did have to show my ID and present the credit card I'd purchased the tickets with.

They issued the park tickets on the spot, and the procedure was identical to the one at Will Call, but with much less line.

As Chumpieboy says, at least give it a shot.

Thanks so much! One question for you - when you said "They issued the park tickets on the spot..." was that from the desk or the kiosk? Is it automated? Thanks so much again for your help!

If you're going to be at the hotel anyway, it can't hurt to try there first.
Yes, I know, but I've never been to Universal, and always had to be a super-planner for Disney, and I'm trying to wrap my mind around the process.

Last year I picked up our HHN tickets at the Sapphire Falls ticket kiosk (it's actually a desk with an employee there). He asked me for the confirmation number and the credit card I used to purchase. He then printed the tickets and handed them to me. Much easier and quicker (no line at all) than using the kiosk machines at the front gate. I'd try at the hotel first. Good luck!

Yep, same thing at HRH. :-)
