Will booking ever get easier?

I actually just booked a full week (first time) 11 months out at 8 am. I did get AKV value studio. So now I know that I can do it.

So which is less busy? Is it the full week before Thanksgiving or the second full week of December?

I just made my first reservation and it is in pieces. Lots of moves. Is this just a learning curve? Will it get easier to book a week in one shot?

The system isn't getting easier, it's gotten slowly more difficult the last few years but seems to have plateaued. You'll learn how to make it work and that will get easier as you get more experience and are able to plan accordingly. You'll learn what you can realistically do. However, IMO, DVC has never been a good choice for those who plan late, esp after the 7 month window has passed.
