will be in a wheelchair for our trip

Starting Tuesday. I broke my toe. While it seems a minor injury it does impede mobility quite a bit. Didn't feel like dealing with an ECV so rented a wheelchair at home to bring with us. I'll actually need it at the airport.

Will I keep it in the line with me? leave it outside? I am fine to walk a line but an entire park no. So I'm using it so i can enjoy my day.

We are staying at Royal Pacific so have the "front of line" pass or whatever it is they advertise.

regular wheelchairs will do fine in the ride/show lines.
it's all ADA fit.
for the animal actor show, there are designated sections for w/c and their party.


i have used a wc in the ride lines and know it was not an issue.


have not been to DA yet but i assume it will not be a problem there.


you can use the water taxi from RPH w/your wc.

My sister sprained her ankle three days before our Universal trip last year. We rented the chair from Universal. It was fine! Sometimes we went through special lines (The Hulk and Harry Potter) other times we just wheeled her threw. For the shows we waited regularly and sat in the designated area for the wheelchairs. We did switch to the electronic cart the second day though; mom and I were done pushing my sister around and she was tired of pushing herself!

i have seen many use the water taxis.
i think the max is 2 ecv's at a time though.

There are big hills in IOA, it is not flat. However i think US is pretty flat. I know PBH rents the ECV in the concierge area if you change your mind. I don't know if RP rents them, they might.
