Will be away to call for ps 60 days for Cindy Ps

My family and I will be away when I should call for Cindy PS. The only phone I will have is a cell phone and dont even know if that will work. What can I do???

I have read lots of posts on the boards regarding people making ps for crt using their cell phones. I would imagine that you should be ok, however, if you don't want to leave it to chance is there a friend or a relative who would make the reservation for you.

Most of our relatives will be with us. I just feel a little crazy asking a friend to be up at 6:45 for a reservation! I'm not sure if the will understand the urgency of it and to start dialing and redailing at 6:57.

don't feel bad....I asked my sister and my mom to come over at 6:45 am, so my hubby, sister, and I could all try on 3 different phones, and my mom watched the kids so we wouldn't get distracted while we were on the phone.
FWIW, my hubby is the one who got the PS and he was on his cell phone. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

If your cell phone plan is just for regional service and you will be out of that region, you could call your cell phone provider and ask how you could get your phone to work in the area you will be for just that time period. Before we had national coverage, we could call our provider and get coverage in our area for our vacations. If your phone works, I agree with the other posters, it is often the cell phone that gets through first.

I wouldn't feel bad asking other people to help you out. Most people who have been to Disney are very accommodating, cause they know how difficult it is to get some ps.

Even remote areas have pay phones.
Maybe scout the area and get up extra early that day?

Having a regional service does not always mean the phone won't work, it means if you call outside your region, you'll pay extra. If you are worried about cell coverage - different problem - then definitely call a)your provider to make sure that you'll have coverage and b)call where you'll be staying to see how their cell reception is.

I would be glad to call and try to get the ressie for you, but not sure what to do about the CC. If I put it in my name, can it be switched to your name? Anyone know the answer?
