We were thinking about visiting DL in 2009 but only if rooms are big enough for our family. We would also like to have a kitchen and washer/dryer.

DLH, PP,a d GC have suites that will accomadate 6, but they are a bit $$$$$ for our family of 6. They do not have a kitchen or W and D. (Except for laundry room.)We usually stay at RI maingate mainly because of the ammenities and the full kitchen. The have a cummunal laundry room.
BWPPI and Desert Inn and Suites have suites, not sure of the kitchen.

Good hunting,

Jack

Good luck. :wizard: I have a family of 6 too so I know how hard it can be! :)

Try the Residence Inn Maingate, Residence Inn Resort Area, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, La Quinta Suites, Staybridge Suites, Desert Inn & Suites ...

If you want to be within a 5-minute walk (no kitchen), try Camelot Inn, Carousel Inn, BW Park Place Inn, I think Tropicana Inn (not sure off the top of my head) - they offer continental breakfast.

Our family of 6 was most comfortable of all stays anywhere at the Res Inn Garden Grove. You need to drive or take the ART shuttle which is a slight pain. You get a great free breakfast, big laundry room coin operated, very nice kitchen. We walked over to Target for groceries and there are lots of restaurants that will deliver. We got the family suite with 2 bedrooms/2baths. One room had a bunkbed, the other had 2 queens, and in between there is a living room with a foldout couch, a dining table, and the kitchen. The staff is super nice.

This next trip we're going to try the Camelot delx suite with 2 queens, 1 king, and a pullout. It is across the street, but I don't expect it to be as nice and brkfast is yuck from what I hear. I didn't want to wait for the shuttle in the cold Feb night though, so we opted for across the street.
