Will all the new lands and rides bump up DVC price?

DVC price are driven mostly by attendance at the parks. As more people want to go to WDW regularly, a bigger number of people will look at buying DVC. New lands and attactions are used to keep attendance growing, if they succeed, then DVC value will increase.
However attendance is only one of the factors, worldwide economy is a bigger player. During latest recession DVC prices plummeted.

I can only hope so. I bought in while prices were low. pretty much as the bottom dropped out and before prices rebounded. Now I could sell my DVC and not only recoup my original investment, with commision I'd still end up with a pretty penny. I'm not looking to sell, but if I had to, It's nice to know I'd be making a profit on it, not taking a hit. Of course, the bottom could drop out again so you never know.

Yep. It will certainly increase.

Hopefully I have all the points I need

Now maybe to buy some AP certificates. I'm not interested in another year with price increases like this one. Of course it will always cost more each year to go to Disney. :drive:

These direct prices look so expensive until we're all sitting here a few years later like "remember when VWL II was only $180?!?!"

I saw the crowds at MK today and they look as substantial as ever.

Right. I bought my points back when direct sold in the $60 range. I think we haven't remotely seen the end of the price hikes yet.

When I got into dvc back in 2000 they were advertising save up to 70 percent if you were to book the room using cash now it's 50 percent they are advertising wouldn't be surprised if they have to drop it down to 30 percent soon.
