Will Airtran drop ticket prices for Sept 10th?

Im getting very impatient waiting on these airline tickets to drop. Why is it Friday Sept. 10th they are 276.00 and I checked days all around that and they are 69.00 and 79.00 for the exact flight same time on all the days ? I even checked other Fridays and they were all much lower. Why higher on the one day I need to come home lol. Do you think they will drop the fare before Sept. 10th or should I go ahead and buy it ? I have been checking it for a month and it has stayed the same, but all others are dropping. I dont understand these airline prices

Where you flying to? That's the Friday after labor day. People are flying home. I have no idea if the fares will be going down, going up or if the flight you're looking at will wind up selling out.

Is it all the flights for your city for that day (if there's more than one)? It's possible a large group bought tickets and they don't have many seats left for that day.

Yes it's all the flights for leaving Orlando to Columbus Ohio they are all high on that day morning and evening flights.

SW has flights that range from $117 to $186
There are 2 non stop flights for $117 one at 8:50am and one at 3:45pm

Flights from MCM to CMH Sept 10 have finally dropped to as low as $112, the one N/S is still $184.
