I really like what I'm reading about the Crystal Palace and would really like to try it. I love Pooh! I'm wondering if my DH and I would have a good time at the Crystal Palace. Will we look silly since we don't have kids? I like the idea of watching the other children interact with the characters. Is it worth it or should we skip it?

I think you will have a great time. I have been there twice without kids and love it. It is fun to get you picture taken, but it is also fun to watch the interactions with the characters and kids.

The food is also great!

My bf and I are going to try it!! I've been to CMs before with my niece and nephew and there were couples without children there..seemed to be having a great time too!

The DH and I have been to breakfast at CP on both our trips, and are planning on eating dinner there for our upcoming trip.
Pooh is my favorite, and we don't have children either.
Like you, I was a little nervous about it before our first trip, but I figured out there was noting to worry about. We had a great time. The characters are really fun, and I don't think anyone even noticed that we were childless. In fact, we celebrated our anniversary there last year and it was really special. CP is one of our favorite restaurants, and we've made eating there a tradition.

I went to the breakfast with my bf last trip and it was yummy and so much fun! We're going to make it a new tradition. Plus he loves tigger, so I figured it was appropriate. We also did the princess dinner for me at Norway!

CP is great for adults. It is such a pretty restaurant that you cant go wrong. I think the characters would not be too aggressive if you indicate you are not that into them. The atmosphere is nice, you'll have a great time.

DH and I have eaten at CP without children during every trip to WDW since our honeymoon (with the exception of the 2 times we chaperoned the senior class trip to Disney). We love it... we try to have breakfast there every time we go!

I have totally gone prior to having DS. In fact, DS is only 3, so there were many, many trips where DH and I were "big kids." I love eating at the Crystal Palace and find the characters fun regardless of age. Go and enjoy! :goodvibes

Adults will love it - I do - the architecture is lovely!! The food is also decent, and the characters are non-aggressive (can you picture a macho Piglet???), so you should have a lovely meal.

DH (35) and me (33) loved Crystal Palace. The characters treat you the same as if you were a kid. We were able to get pics with all the characters and still had a great meal. Can't wait to go back.

my dw and are are both 42 and in the ten days we are there, we have breakfast twice at cp. love the bacon!!

i´m 41 years old and I love Cristal Palace is fantasticccc:cool1:

Its a must do for us every trip, kids or not!!!!:thumbsup2

I think so! I ate there once without my kids, and once with my kids. I enjoyed it equally both times. Both was for dinner- their salmon is TDF. They also have lovely salads/veggies, good rolls. The characters weren't pushy at all. Pretty setting. We have ADRs set there for our next two trips.:lovestruc

We go every summer to CP and we are all adults and we LOVE it - me (27), Mama (48) and my aunt (57).

The food is fabulous, the service is excellent, the characters are so cute! All in all, you will have a wonderful time!!! :yay:

Actually, I think its great for couples. As a parent, I find the Character Buffets a little on edge until all the characters have visit our table. We have found the CP food offerings to be better than most of the buffets and even many of the table service restaurants. It is also one of the solid MK restaurants with consistent service and food.

Lord, no, you won't look foolish. And if you do, then we look foolish right along with you. :rotfl2: This is one place DH and I absolutely refuse to miss. We go every year for breakfast (we are 55 and 50--DH being the 55 :lmao: ). Last year, for my 50th birthday, they decorated my table with confetti and ribbons and brought a cupcake and sang to me and Eeyore came over to have a second picture taken with me. The way I look at it, we are ALL kids at Disney World (although my DH is a kid 365 days a year).

I think you'll have a great time! There were 3 adults and one child in our party when we went last September, and us adults had just as much fun as my 6 year old! I also noticed lots of childless couples there too and they all seemed to be having a blast! Have fun!

My daughter (23 yrs. old) and I always go there for breakfast and love it. The atmosphere is great, the characters are fun and best of all the food is great! You should definitley go....you'll love it!:wizard:

Crystal Palace is a must do for DH & I every trip that we make to WDW. Breakfast is always the best, but for our trip this time we're doing dinner again. I always managed to get my picture with the characters & DH is a great sport about having his taken too. For our anniversary there they decorated our table really sweetly with confetti, etc. When I looked around our area that day there were tons of couples with no children. Go & enjoy yourselves!! :cutie:
