Will a new confirmation # mess up ADRs?

I already have my package confimation and all my ADR's set up, but we want to change one room to a King bed. My AAA agent said it will require a new confirmation number. If I do that will I lose all my ADR's? This includes the HDDR show. If I have to rebook now will I end up with a table further back? I booked HDDR early because I wanted to be sure my DS2 would be able to see well. Does anyone have experience with this?

You will not lose your ADRs with a new package confirmation number. Have fun on your trip.

I don't think they enter your resort confirmation onto your ADRs. Don't worry!

ADR's are tied to phone numbers, not confirmation numbers. Believe me, I have change about a gazillion things with AAA and all of my ADR's are still intact.

With the 180 + 10 rule could there be a problem? I booked through Disney and used the 180 + 10 to make my ADR's. But my sister will become a CM at Disney on Aug. 2 and she can get me a room at a discounted rate. But I wanted to have a reservation in case there aren't any rooms left when she gets there. However, f there are rooms left I will cancel the other reservation. I don't think I'm making any sense but I am just worried my ADR's will get cancelled with a cancelled reservation.

No, they won't be cancelled. Keep a list of your ADR confirmation #'s ALWAYS, this will help if you get to the restaurant. If you are concerned about changing, just tell them when you get your new resort confirmation # and the ressies will follow you and you will get a print out when you arrive.
