Will a mid-week booking be harder to get?

We're getting close to the 11 month mark for our trip next year, for which we're planning on renting points through a broker. Our game plan currently calls for arriving at MCO on a Sat, three nights at USO, then transferring to BWV studio on a Tuesday to stay until the following Sunday. This will likely be the second or third week of Sep. 2016, so it should start before F&W starts.

Is that going to be much harder to book? I have this image of most DVC owners typically planning for full week bookings, say Sat to Fri or Sun to Sat, giving them a three day head start over us. Or should I just not worry about it, as long as we get our request to the broker on exactly the 11 month mark for us?

I don't think you have to worry about September at 11 months.

I agree and wouldn't worry about a Sept booking at 11 months. Unless it's something like AKV concierge or something of similar scarcity. That category is so small it can always be difficult.

We are DVC members and it would never occur to me to do a full week booking.

We do 3 or 4 resorts per trip generally 4 or 5 nights per resort. So not all DVC members are 7 night people.

I agree September at 11 months you will be fine.

DW and I try to go 2 - 3 nights every month of the year with one 5 night stay.
If we were to do more than 5 nights, most likely that would include time on a DCL.

With DVC being points based, my guess is that most owners do not do Sat to Sat or Sun to Sun, I know most of the time, we might do nine or ten nights.

For the time you want, the BWV studios, including standard and boardwalk views, have been open at 11 months out for each of the last three years regardless of whether your start date was the Tuesday or any other day during that time. BWV pool/garden view was open even at 7 months out.

I agree. We have stayed for 10 days once and It was a Tuesday to the following Thursday. I was not going to make it through 2 weekends and pay the higher points Friday and Saturday twice.

And a lot of people do midweek to save on points and go a few times - if you can drive, a Sunday check in and Friday check out isn't the bargain it was before point reallocation, but it still gets you more nights for your points.
