Hi all. When we are there in September our son will be a little over a year old. He just doesn't sleep very well in his pack-n-play so we are thinking about renting a full size crib...now the question is...will a full size crib fit in the master bedroom of a 1 bedroom suite at BLT? We don't want to put it in the living room as there will be people staying in there too and we feel we should keep the little guy with us anyway :goodvibes

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. This is our fist DVC trip and our 1st time at BLT. I'm so excited! :woohoo:

Best,
Rachel

Hmm... I'm not sure. We were there this past Jan and set up the pnp between the bed and patio. It was tight already.
I'm not sure the space between bathroom and bed would be any bigger. I guess you can keep the crib in the bathroom and use the extra outside bathroom at night.

The resorts have a number of cribs, many are the structure and mattress type of a regular crib, just smaller, roughly the size of a pack n play. We just had our 2.5 y/o grandson in one this past weekend with no problems. Granted he's on the smaller side and he'll out grow it in a few months, but it worked find for this trip.

Thank you both so much for the posts! I suspected that a full size would be a challenge to fit. It's just so hard to tell from the drawings of floorplans I've poured over so many times. :goodvibes but it is also good to hear that the pack-n-play style cribs work (& it sounds more substantial than a fabric covered board in the bottom which is pretty much what ours is.). Thanks for saving me $70 & giving a little piece of mind. That's $70 more to spend on souvenirs & Dole Whips.

Thanks!

the crib provided for us at SSR for DGS was metal with no bumper pads provided. Since he was a "mover" in his sleep, that didn't work for us as his head was always up against the rails.

Thanks! So it sounds like there are a variety of cribs/pack-n-plays that could be delivered...Does anyone know can you request a certain type? Also, I'm guessing that pack-n-play sheets will fit them all? I'm kind of weird about those things, so I'd like to bring my own. Thanks again!

All the rooms have the pnp in them and then you can request the small metal crib a pp described. Yes, both will fit your pnp sheets from home. Just be aware the cribs are first come first served, so theres not a guarantee you will get one. We had our pnp right inside the bedroom door, between the door and dresser. The small crib should fit there too.

Hi. We stayed last year in a BLT 2 bedroom. We rented a full size crib from baby's best friend for our 2 year old DD. It fit perfectly between the king size bed and the sliding glass door. There was plenty of room for me to get in and out of bed without bumping into her crib. We are so glad that we rented and didn't try to make do with a PNP. She slept her normal hours. It was great.
