Hello all,
I just extended our vacation by 2 days and thought I'd try a Universal resort for the 1st time. But not sure how their people limit works here. It will be myself, DD20, DS17, DD10 and DS1. My kids are bringing a friend along and he is 18. We are not going to need tons of space bc we are only bringing in backpack for our 2 day stay. Thanks.

Fire regulations limit the occupancy to 5 in a room including babies.

since you'll have 3 adults and 3 children, you would need to book 2 rooms.

Yea that won't happen :) Not at $283 per night. I may book a room somewhere else near by $60 or $70 per night & let the big kids stay there but still be on my ressies for the passes.:cool1:

Make sure that everyone is on the reservation since you will all need to get your photos taken for your express passes. The extra adult will be an extra $25.

If I am adding correctly you have 6 people in your party plus a baby. I believe you can only have up to 5 people on a room reservation. The 5th person will cost an extra $25 dollars a day any additional people will NOT be able to get an express pass. If what I am saying is true then there is a person (not including your baby who doesn't need a pass if you have one, so don't put them on your reservation) that will not be able to get front of line access.

You can buy an express pass sepertaly for the 6th person. The cost varies depending on crowd expectations. I think the max is $89 a day.

yup damo, looks like 6 total.

i had to look twice as i couldn't find the baby........

when someone says baby i usually assume like a 6 month or younger.

Ok thanks, I didn't know about the $25:thumbsup2

Sorry, he is a baby to me even at almost 2. To be honest my 20yr old as of yesterday:bday: is still a baby to me.:goodvibes

My ressies are for 2 adults & 2 kids- my DD20 & myself are adults & DS17 & DD10 as kids. I was calling for price quotes so didn't give it much thought. I'll call back & add the friend and pay the extra $50.

Then add $18 for parking both cars? Yea my 2yr old will be a stow-away:rotfl2:

So my $283 per night with extra person fee & 2 parking fees is becoming $350 almost :scared1: we might rethink this because $700 for 2 nights in comparison to a WDW mod for 4 nights for under $650 & 13 nights at nice vacation home for $960, isn't making great financial sense to me. Since these 2 days were added with no cost to switch, I thought I'd surprise them with this new thing. I'll hold on to the ressie & see how my ebay sales go. :thumbsup2 thanks everyone!

Remember, one night in the on site hotel gives you two days of unlimited Express pass. That might be enough?

Regarding the room, have the reservation for five, and pay the extra $25. Then, you and the younger kids can stay in a cheaper hotel nearby, but you still get the perks. It Will be expensive, but its probably the best solution. If you feel confident in staying in a different hotel of course.

Your baby doesn't need either ticket or express pass.
