I have no pics but I’m I still looking for the paper Disney CM started giving out door to door about 45 mins after I saw it. Talked to Brian about every night so 2 nights later he told me they trapped him I think around 800-700 loop but not sure. He also told me it was 6’ and 450 pounds and was being relocated. I didn’t post it at the time didn’t want to scare anyone coming in. I also heard there is a family of 4 that lives on the other side on the property where there is not one.

Wow! That is awesome.

I saw the notice about bears posted on the Meadow Trading Post bulletin board when I visited in April, but the notice was from January. This is it:

This isn't what they passed out, it it?

When did you see the bear, and in what loop?

That looks like it can’t believe they still have it up. We were in the 400 loop in late January

Wasn't the blood on the saddle?

And, what's with all the scrawny turkey pictures?

Here are some nice turkeys (from 11/09 in the overflow lot):

I stepped on an armadillo on the way to the comfort station one night. Poor thing screamed louder than I did! :scared:

On the bear sightings, it is funny that I have been at FW since Saturday, 5/8, and today we came back to the cabin to have the bear sighting info on our table today. So, maybe it was spotted again recently. I have only seen birds, squirrels and rabbits this week, I was informed that I missed the deer.

If you go to the horse barn almost every night about 1am you can see Deer. Bears are known to go back to the same please even relocated 100 miles away

When we were at the fort over christmas we saw a strange animal. We were driving on the main road in front of the fort(vista blvd??) going to winndixie so we went straight through the light and continued on... Anyway a large animal ran across the road in front of the car and stopped in the ditch I told my DH to stop so I could figure out what it was but honestly I couldn't figure out what it was?? It was getting dark so that didn't help and no I wasn't drinking and I hadn't been yet but it was odd looking...It was fairly skinny but tall and had round shaped ears and was a dark color(it wasn't a deer I know what those look like especially after I've hit one:scared1:)
So all this talk about black bears(which I didn't even know there were any in Florida:eek:) I googled it to see if it looked like the ones we have here and holy carp!!:laughing:I think I figured out what it was it was a bear:yay: It looked like this one:

I don't know if it had fur but the body shape and ears were just like this one. Our bears up here don't get mange that I know of so that's why it didn't look like anything I've seen before.
Wow long story but I finally think I figured out what it was.
