I'm looking at booking a studio for Wilderness Villa tomorrow and was wondering if there is a request I should make for a view or location? :confused3

This will be our first stay at VWL.

The last week of October we were in room 3503 and I apologize for not having a picture. The studio was recently renovated and looked wonderful. Our view was nice, trees and the lodge was across the way. The best part about it was how wonderfully quiet it was - at a dead end so no through traffic so our little ones could get to sleep early. :) Hope you enjoy VWL as much as we did!

Thanks. Just booked this morning with no request but I'll do a little more research and see if there is a request to be made. Thanks again for your input.

You want to request the lake side. It is quiet, no bus noises, etc. I believe they call the other side the woods view, which is the side that faces the bus dropoff and parking lot.

We are here now and requested a upper floor. We face the bus stop but with all the trees, you can't see anything but trees. With the patio door open, you can hear outside noise, but with it closed it's as quiet as a Mickey Mouse.

Hi Disneynutz! Well I got my switch at 7 mos. for a studio there...will be my first visit. I requested my studio be near the elevators to avoid the dreaded dumpster view. Do you think I have a shot at that request? Also, can you post some pics? :goodvibes

Thanks. Sounds like the request to make. I'm sure whatever we get will be great but can't hurt to request something.

Hey Dreamin... I posted some pictures in the one-bedroom section on the following website. The last pictures are an example of the "Woods View". I hope to get more pics before we move on to BWV.

Yipes, there's a dumpster view at the Villas?? :scared1:

We're staying there for the first time (had many stays at the WL though) so I was also curious about where to request. We have a studio booked for mid-Jan.

I am a BIG FAN of "quiet" and that studio that was mentioned at the beginning of this thread sounds awesome! Was that on the "lake" side? Have all the rooms in the villas been renovated?

Disneynutz would love to see those photos but unfortunately your link isn't working...
