Trying to plan out next trip. Daughter's sweet sixteen, Dec. 30th 2014, so we'll be there for New Years. Looking for a resort to watch the fireworks from, because not too crazy about being in a park with shoulder to shoulder crowds! Only deluxe resort I think I can swing (financially) is Wilderness Lodge. Can you see the fireworks from there?

Some woods,view rooms you can see the tops of the fireworks. You could also boat over to contemporary and catch them from the bridge there or eat at California Grill.
