Wilderness Lodge Villas

either BLT, or BLT, rofl. it's Disney, all the resorts have community halls geared to the kids and family fun things. Lots of other things to do at bay lake, plus, how can you beat watching that monorail come through the hotel??? and you can watch the fireworks every night from the elevator waiting area, the lounge at the top, or take the monorail over to the first stop, get off, and watch and hear the music and BOOM as well???
I take my grands too, get the one bedroom, we are not as young as we used to be, LOL>Wilderness is fun, at xmas... not in May IMO... 2 days in May, and its same ole, but BLT has so many options at hand with the pool, and the beach and lake, boats, show at polynesian, chef Mickey is the best character show there is, and the rooms are wonderful, and the light parade on the lake each nite goes right past your balcony if you a pool view!

You only make me more happy and satisfied that we purchased at BLT. :woohoo:

Are you sure you are staying at VWL? They don't pre-assign rooms and there is no 14F
This is an RCI exchange---that sounds like the Unit Code for a 1BR unit with a Friday check-in.

Any suggestions of a room location to ask for. I'm thinking we'll do a studio but the 1 bedroom is tempting.
If you are in a studio, ask for "close to the elevators". That is your best chance at avoiding the "dumpster view"---the studios at the very far end of the hallway on one side. If you are in a 1BR, I'm not even sure it matters; most of those views are very similar.

PS: go with the 1BR. You'll be glad you did.
