Wilderness Lodge V Fort Wilderness

Wow. These are so totally different I don't know how you can compare them. Fort Wilderness is a Campground/RV park (with some cabins as well), while Wilderness Lodge is a hotel.

I prefer WL since my idea of roughing it is having to stay at one of the value resorts because the deluxe's are all booked.

My idea of roughing it would be WL, because I like having my full kitchen and separate space for DH and I to watch Tv away from the Kiddos. Oh and I like being able to park at my "room"(campsite or cabin).

Both a beautifull resorts and if I can't stay at FW, WL is the next best thing. Because the resorts are so close to each other it is very easy to enjoy many of the amenities of both(not the pools of course).

OMG.... Fort Wilderness Cabins.

You can grill outside
you have your own kitchen
Peace and Quiet
you enjoy nature around the cabin
you can park your car out side
It holds 6 people in one cabin
:thumbsup2

But at the Lodge....
anying kids
a lot of people
rooms are smaller
:confused3
