Wilderness Lodge to Ft Wilderness

how do you get there? directions? how far? time? easy enough?
im sure taking the car would be easier/quicker?

10 minutes by boat or by bus. If it's daytime, you're actually within a reasonable walking distance from Pioneer Hall.

Taking your car would be the worst option. You would have to park at the far end of FW and then have to board a bus to go within the campground. If you walk to the dock at WL you can catch a boat. If the large boat comes first, ask what the next stop is. You could walk the exercise trail to FW--it's about a mile. Not lighted, so don't do it after dark. The bus it will also go to FW. Both the bus and boat stop near Pioneer Hall, just at opposite ends of the building.

Where is the kennel?

sorry where exactly in Ft Wilderness is their kennel? near their bus stop? near the boat ramp? near Pioneer Hall?

The kennel is located beside the TTC, which is about 5 minutes from the Wilderness Lodge. Wilderness Lodge lies halfway between the kennel and Fort Wilderness.

You can also catch the FW bus from WL. It's the same bus that does to the FW-TTC route. It stops at WL both going and coming.

There is also a kennel at FW, near the outpost bus stop the check in area and the parking lot

It's very quick & easy to get between WL & FW. You can take either boat or the bus.
