Other than walking the mile trail, what is the best way?

We are eating at Whispering Canyon and I would love to take the kids to the Pony rides afterward.

You can take the boat or the bus too. I would think the bus is quicker.

There's a bus and a boat that can take you to the Fort from the Wilderness Lodge.

The Tri Circle D Ranch is awesome!!

We've also rented a Surrey Bicycle at WL and ridden it over to FW, which was fun. The bus is quick, but the boat ride is short too and pretty. Timing will just depend on which one you have less of a wait for to arrive. Another consideration is the boats and busses leave from pretty much opposite ends of the resort, with the Busses being closer to WCC, but it is always fun to walk through the resort past the waterfall and pool down to the beach and boat dock.
