Wilderness Lodge Suite

My partner and I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in a Junior Suite for three nights. We had problems with our reservation but we ended up getting the suite for around $300/night. I think the suites at this hotel are over rated. First they are at he very end of the corridor. No privacy when you sit out on the balcony. The internet service is pathetic. No turn down service. Overall I would not recommend paying the extra money for a suite.

Sorry you were disappointed with your suite. WL is one Deluxe hotel that bases their deluxe suite prices on size, not necessarily location. With that said, note that WL standard rooms are the smallest Sq. Footage amonst the deluxe hotels...so any extra space is always welcome! I personally would pay the extra $ to have the space and be at my favorite resort! Perhaps you should try GF next!?!

Basically, the Jr. Suites are designed for family's with more than four people. Wilderness Lodge has some of the most beautiful suites on property but rack rates are a little higher than $300.00 so I'm sorry you didn't even see WL suites. I have stayed in Jr. suite and recieved just what I paid for a nice room for six..less expensive than reserving two seperate rooms., with a great view of EWP and Bay Lake.

The junior suite is also called a deluxe room.

They are quite the value for the money.

If you want a secluded suite then the Presidential and Vice Presidential suites are up on the 7th floor.

Whoa, after reading your other thread about the Polynesian I'd say you had a real bummer of a trip.

When exactly was this trip? You just posted about the POLY and I do not think you mentioned also staying at the WL. Did you stay at both on the same trip? What was your problem with your reservation here?

WL jr. suites really aren't suites at all. Deluxe room better describes what it is.

In all fairness to the OP, this post was from October,2003 and was bumped up.

The Poly Problems post was this month.

He surely does seem to have problems with rooms at WDW, though.

I do wonder why he posts about these things, but, then never comes back to answer any of the replies he gets.

I guess we'll never know what he actually paid for.

bausemer, From reading through your posts, you seem to have had many, many, many problems with WDW.
From WL, to Fulton's, to Poly, all have been horrible for you.
Thank goodness "Search" is working now, so that we can all follow your misfortunes and learn from them. Thanks for sharing with us all!
I do hope that you get everything you deserve to make up for these mixups!

I did read all his posts too...Seems that he just is never happy.

In fairness to "OUR" home...I loved this trip..as all my other trips...The Magic is what you make it...if you rely on others to make your magic, odds are greater that you will be dissapointed!
I got turn down service every night...but you must CALL for it!

I hope this works!! I keep forgetting to reply to my posts. I've been down to Disney World many times. Most of the trips have been fantastic. I should probable start posting some of those experiences an stop be such a nay sayer!! mm is that a word? lol
