Wilderness Lodge Std Room

So we have booked 2 std rooms for wilderness lodge and now a set of grandparents want to go. I see most every room is sold out. Are they really sold out or do they open more later? How likely is it that someone will cancel?

They don't hold rooms and release them later. If someone cancels that room may become available, but it's low chance it perfectly overlaps your dates.

Resort only has a limited number of rooms due to construction.

Half of the resort is closed due to construction, so they are most likely sold out. They were 95% full last weekend, according to the CM I spoke to upon checking in.

Right now about half of the resort is being converted to DVC. The rooms on the side above the front desk.
