Wilderness Lodge Sleigh Rides

We will be using Disney transport....I figured Monorail to TTC, then to MK and take the boat over to WL....or is there an easier way?

I think (not sure) that there's a bus from Epcot to WL. Should be faster than the monorail/boat combo as long as you don't have to wait too long for it.

We did this last year and loved it! I think we ended up tipping 10-15, but we got caught without cash too. It was fun, but L said it would have been more romantic if I hadn't talked to our driver about the horse, Douglas, the whole time. I swear this was the biggest horse I've seen in my life. She told us all about training, testing, etc for the horses. OK, OK, I guess that's not exactly romantic.

I just called and they told me my party size was too big and would't let me book, it's me, Dh, DD11, DD4 and DS2. They said that it states, maxium 5 people 2 adutls and 3 kids under 9 or 4 adults. I said, I didn't think the 2 year old counted and she said it specifically stated that he does. Guess no sleigh ride for us. I thought they would have allowed him to be a lap sitter.

The Port Cochere is the covered area in front of the Lodge where the valets are. You can't miss the horse drawn carriages, don't worry!

I would try calling again Jill. We did it as recently as last year. It was me, DH, DS 16, and DDs ages 7 and 11.

I would call back and try again. I booked it on the 18th for a party of 5, 3 adults 2 children. She just asked if the kids were under 9.

On Allearsnet it mentioned there are different sleigh ride places, i.e. POFQ (actually, that might just be a carraige ride), Wilderness Lodge and Ft. Wilderness. I am trying to decide between the three. Which do you think would be the neatest?
