Wilderness Lodge room question

We have a woods view booked. I have been reading about rooms that open to the lobby and how loud they can be.
I don't want one of those rooms. I would like a quiet room. Is there a good suggestion for this?

We had a woodsview room earlier this month. I faxed a request asking for a bunkbed room overlooking the otter pond. We were in room 2012. It was very quiet and an easy walk to the elevator that took us down by Roaring Forks and the pool. We didn't see the otter but we did see other wildlife. It was nice to sit on the balcony and just soak in the quiet. If you don't want bunk beds I know there were other room on our side of the floor that had 2 doubles. Have a great trip.

Was your room NS???? I am planning on requesting NS, bunk beds, and otter pond side-is this the north wing???

We don't want bunkbeds. just 2 adults.
are the beds doubles or queens?

WL beds are queens, and there are some rooms with Kings. I've read that a lot of those are handicapped rooms, but don't know. We had a king courtyard view on the 5th floor and it wasn't. That room also opened onto the lobby and we never noticed noise when in our room -- perhaps because we were higher up????

we were in the honeymoon room one year and the noisy was unreal. it was coming from whispering canyon cafe!!

I didn't think that any of the woodsview rooms opened up to the lobby. I thought that the south side rooms looking over the bus stop and the north side rooms over the loading docks opened up to the lobby and that they were standard rooms. And I thought that the courtyard rooms that were in the bears face part of the lodge opened to the lobby. But I can't think of where a woodsview room would have a lobby openeing.
