My DW was just told about a new (I think) restaurant at WLV that is a lot of fun but she forgot the name of it and we would like to go there in April. She was told that if you ask for catsup the waiters shout out the need for it and people from other tables come over to offer their own.

Can anyone help? :confused3

Actually, there aren't any dining facilities at the villas except in each villa. Whispering Canyon is in the Wilderness Lodge.

That would be the Whispering Canyon Cafe (referred to as WCC here on the DIS boards) in the main lodge at WL. It's not new, though. You'll find a lot of info over on the restaurant board (search for "WCC"). Good food, a bit noisy but lots of fun!

I arranged a bday party for DD17 at WCC last Dec. We had about 20 for the lunch buffet and I ordered a special cake from WDW catering. My daughter is more cynical than the girl on the TV commercial where the family is trying to get their DDteen to smile for the camera.

The waiter and waitress had us all in stitches and my DD17 never stopped smiling the whole 2 hours. Now all the cousins are begging their parents for bday parties at WDW.

PS. If you have any excuse to do so, have the WDW catering service (I forget the official name -- maybe it's just the bakery) bring you a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache icing. And buy a vault to keep it in otherwise it will disappear the first night you leave it unprotected.

Great, I will set up an advance reservation. Sounds like a really fun place and my DS hates to go to "fancy restaurants". Maybe we can check out the villas there to see how they compare to BCV. :thumbsup2
