I'm hoping all you WL experts can answer my questions.

I've just booked WL concierge for early December. What kind of view can I expect? Do all of the rooms have balconies? How close is the lounge to guest rooms?

At the Polynesian the evening offerings are themed and different each night. Is it the same at WL, and what are they?

Thanks for your help.

Hi. We stayed at WL concierge in July. Actually we had 2 rooms. We moved after one night because they didn't have a bunk room the first night. Got to have the bunks with kids. Our first view was parking lot. Our second view was over the trash area. It didn't smell at all. But we could see MK. I think all rooms are about the same from where the food is. That is in the center concourse area the overlooks the lobby. We ate breakfast each morning there and did the snacks in late afternoon. If you enjoy wine and such, they do that in the evening. Myself and DH are not drinkers, but if you enjoy that it is well worth the extra cash for the room. The rooms are not bigger, I felt compared to other floors. I'm sure they have different levels with concierge. We upgraded from a standard room. When we checked in the CM said how would you like concierge for $50 per night. We thought that was a good price and so we did it. I have heard it can be around $100 per night more. So you get the food and the frig in room. I would do it again for $50 not $100. We joined the DVC while we were there so I don't think we will be in that position any time soon.

Enjoy the sights and sounds.

Are all views like this with WL Concierge? If so, I think I may have just made my decision not to stay. The view isn't THAT important but, I don't want to pay extra to have a yucky view. :(

When we stayed on the concierge level last February, our view was of the grounds and WL Villas. There is a long covered walkway to the bus stops and we could see that roof. We actually didn't use the balcony much because it was one of those solid wood ones. You could only see out if you stood up. We loved the WL and the concierge level. I can't wait to go back!

Concierge rooms are all view types. You can request a courtyard or woods view but it is not guaranteed. Being that the Concierge is the entire 7th floor the views vary from room to room, you could have a room overlooking the main pool, the Villas pool, the wooded area or the service area (while the service area may not seem appealing keep in mind it is a great view of MK and a great place to see fireworks from MK at night). As Michiganmommy stated ALL the balconies for concierge at WL are the open top, solid bottom (meaning that if you are sitting you can't see the view, only the sky...if you are standing you can see the view).
