Can someone tell me what the slide is like (or similar to) at WL? I've seen the pics on Disney's website but it really only shows the waterfall that doesn't look like it is part of the pool that you would swim in...
thanks,
Denise

It is very small and has no height to it to speak of. Our 10 year old commented that the slide wasn't very fun and much to our surprise, he maybe only went on it 6 times out of ten days we were there. The last visit he didn't go on it at all.

I was hoping someone would post a picture! Thanks a bunch!

My two were 2 and 5 last year and they loved the WL slide. The little one could go down with a floatie suit. The big one could go without a lifejacket. They loved it. I stayed at the bottom to catch them. The older one can swim, but the water at the bottom flows fast and I saw one of the older kids get afraid and get into trouble. We are going again this year and I think they'll love it again. They have limited experience with this sort of thing so they're expectations are small.

My 6yr old daughter loved this slide, up and down she went for 2hours i couldnt believe her little legs didnt get tired, she learned how to swim at the WL all by herself so this place is special to her. If you have older children they may be bored with this but for the littler ones they think their the big shots being able to do this slide by themselves.

We like the pool at WL, even if it is on the small side.

My son (6) loved the slide and spent hours going up and down.
You will constantly hear "don't run" - but run they do. It looks
more like speed walking. This one little boy kept getting upset
telling his dad he wasn't running - I really think they think they
are walking! LOL

But - once my son discovered where the falls come into the
pool - he forgot all about the slide. He loved holding on with
his fingers and then letting go to see how far the current
took him. It is amazing how far back it pushes them. Then
he would swim with all of his mite trying to get back to the
wall - but would have to swim to the side and push along
the wall to get back. He loved it.

We really like the pool at the Wilderness Lodge because of the current created by the water from the falls coming into the pool. It is so refreshing, and swimming against it is so invigorating -- feels like exercising. Can't go wrong with that place!

Hi,we are staying at cbr in june. we are thinking of staying at WL or AKL for a couple nights also. Which has the best pool? WL or AKL? My kids love the pool and this would help me to make up my mind on what resort to stay at? My DH wants WL and my DD wants AKL> Any thoughts? thanks corvair
