Wilderness Lodge on AAA rate

Can anyone tell me what the cost per night will be with AAA rate in late May?

AAA rate in regular season, which is when May usually falls would be 10% off rack. I can't remember if deluxes were part of that new "summer" season next year or if that was mods and values only.

So take your WL rack rate, subtract 10% and then factor in tax for your room cost. Tax next year at deluxes is 12.5%.

Might also depend on the type of room you want at WL. I'm trying to get the AAA rate for standard view room in Jan and am being told only woods/courtyard bunkbed rooms are eligible.

I tried getting a rate for the STD room the first week in Feb., and I was also told that the courtyard is the lowest rate available. I am upset, I really want the std rate!!!! I guess they are sold out???? I just hope that AAA will have some left, I want the package anyway. I will just cross my fingers and wait for my AAA office to open tomorrow. I guess WL is really going fast, probably due to the renovations. Anyone else run into this?

My understanding is that they only have 50-60 starndard view rooms at the resorts. My guess is that they'd go pretty quickly...

On Sunday, we booked two at the AAA rate for 7/11/07-7/18/07.

I was on the phone at 7:00 am Sunday when the codes came out and was not able to get a AAA rate for a standard view room for my dates in mid-Jan. Based on that, I suspect they decided not to allow AAA rates for the standard view rooms during this period for whatever reason. Perhaps that will change at a later date.
