Wilderness Lodge no availability Nov13-17 2016

I've been watching general overall availability for all resorts from 11/13-17 2016 and all are available except WL. Even the Villas at WL are showing availability. I find this to be odd considering the construction is for the DVC portion, right? Am I missing something here?

If you're checking via Disney Reservations, it's unlikely many of the Villas have been released to Disney yet from DVC inventory. The inventory for DVC is kept separate, and you're still inside the home resort booking window.

Half the normal resort is shut down right now, so only half the rooms are bookable. All of DVC is open. It's the DVC pool under construction on that side, but the entire South Wing of the main Lodge.

Were you to try to rent via a DVC rental, there is Villa availability. There just isn't via Disney proper.

They have taken a huge majority, it not all, of the South Wing out of inventory.

Nope. An entire wing of WL is shut down, likely to convert it to DVC. They're currently tearing out walls there.

Some DVC Villas MAY enter the cash reservation system, but for that time of year I wouldn't expect many to do so until after April.
