We stayed at WL for the last 4 nights of our honeymoon. We did concierge but not the honeymoon suite, as I hadn't read any good reviews to justify the extra cost. We had a standard room (with balcony, mini-fridge, and dvd player) our view was of the villas but I honestly don't think there's a bad view, so it's really not worth paying extra to upgrade the view. When we arrived, we were whisked from the taxi stand straight to the concerige desk on the 7th floor for check-in. So no line and very very personal, they had all of our paperwork already out and waiting. At check-in they told us about the food that comes with concierge, they have a buffet most of the day with an hour break in between each to clean up and restet. The first is a contential breakfast, with bagels, muffins, juice, tea, coffee, standards like that. Then through-out the day is a snack buffet, with cookies, gummy bears, pretzels, sodas, juice, water, iced tea, coffee stuff like that. The sugar cookies were the best we've ever had, those alone almost make the cost of concierge worth it. Then there's an appetizer buffet around dinner time, with 2 or 3 hot appetizers. Then at the end of the night they had desserts and cordials with 2 or 3 different desserts and assorted alchols. They always had sodas, juice, water, tea, and coffee out, that you could take. Over all it was very nice not enough to eat all day on but still very nice. The other thing you get with concierge service, is you basically have a personal assistant, to make adrs for you, or call a taxi, get you park maps, answer random questions, basically anything you could need. I had a sinius infection while we were there, and they were able to produce pamphlets for me on my options, and I had a doctor in my room about 15 mins after I called. I'm sure they could have done this at the main desk too but with concierge I only had to go about 50 feet from my room, and I didn't have to wait behind 30 other people asking all kinds of things like what time is the 3 o'clock parade. The other nice thing they did was we were able to borrow a dvd from them. All we did was ask at the desk, and they gave us a list of about 150 or so titles to choose from (all Disney or Disney owned companies of course, but more then G rated, which was pleasently suprising.) We just told them which one and it was in our room when we got back from the parks later, then when we were done we just dropped it back at the desk. Very nice and very free. I used them to make some adrs for me before we left (they can also do them while your there) and they managed to get me Cindy's breakfast, without my having to get up at 6:30 am to call. We had had a really bad time at SSR before we checked into WL and this basically saved our honeymoon. It was just soo nice and relaxing. Worth every single penny we paid. Even my husband who before this trip didn't see a need for anything above Motel 6, didn't bawk at the cost when he saw the price at checkout. Even he thought he got his money's worth, which is just amazing. Thankfully, my mom bought into DVC because I think I'd be hardpressed to not book concierge again if it was an option.
So deffiantly worth the money in our opinion.
Hope this helps.
