Wilderness Lodge......Help !!!

Staying at the WL for 3 nights during our trip - our first time at the resort !

I am going to fax a room request to the hotel but would like some recommendations for which floor/location/room to request !

We have booked a Courtyard View room and would ideally prefer a higher level room with a view of the Silver Creek Springs pool area and Bay Lake !

Tyke-we were on the 4th floor courtyard and had a great view. We were on the right hand side right between the waterfall and the pool, about half way down the wing. I would suggest nothing lower than the 4th floor though. We were even able to see a little bit of the fireworks!! You might also request the other side if you want to be closer to Roaring Forks. It was little further from our room.

Make sure you request inner courtyard. Otherwise you may get a room on the outer courtyard, which faces the Villas at WL.

FYI- If you look at http://allearsnet.com under faxing room preferences it says that the Wilderness Lodge is no longer accepting faxes for room preferences. You may want to call and let CRO know what kind of request you would like. They will be happy to put it directly on the reservation. I didn't want you to fax your request and the WL tell you it was not on your reservation. Hope this helps!! THE LODGE IS WONDERFUL!!! I can't wait to stay there again. We were on inner courtyard 4th floor Roaring Forks side. It was awesome!!

I don't know my room numbers--but if you are facing the castle--rooms closer to the lobby have better views--the further to the end of the building towards the MK boats--the woods block your view...we had a good view of wishes the last time--we could see the castle despite the trees. Time before that we were further down and castle was fully blocked by the trees.

we had room 6039. Inner courtyard facing the pool and stream. Saw the geyser erupt each morning and the electrical water pagant each evening. No direct view of the castle though. Pretty quiet area of the building and around the corner from the elevator that come out close to roaring forks and the exit to the pool.
