Wilderness Lodge Courtyard view?

Okay,
I have read the FAQ and I think that I have a handle on this. I am going to change my reservations to the WL, and I was thinking of booking the courtyard view. This is the area that would over look the pool etc. Now if I want to avoid a view of the villa's can I request a North Wing room or do I have to take a chance wait until check in?

I dont know if you can be specific when ypu make your reservations (would hurt to request it), but definately fax a room request to the hotel a few days before you leave for vacation.

That is what I did, asking for the north wing, higher floor, overlooking the main pool, 2 queen beds, non-smoking. I got everyhting I wanted, the only problem with our room (and it was not that big of deal) was that we had an encloised balcony. So you might want to specify if you want an open or enclosed balcony.

I think to avoid the villa's pool you just need to word it as 'a room overlooking the main pool/courtyard'. Worked for us just fine...Good luck!
