Wilderness Lodge Construction View

We have been at the Wilderness Lodge all week. Construction hasn't really been that big of a deal. The Roaring Fork being closed in a bit of a hassle. We did get a room that is facing the construction which kind of sucks, but it makes up for it at night with a good view of the fireworks!

Thanks. We were kind of freaking out about the construction, but it really was a non-event. We kind of dubbed it the "fireworks over the swamp" view room.

I did want to mention that when we left on Saturday 4-15 that they had setup the plywood partitions around what was an outside area across from the Roaring Fork.

I think that statement sums up about 90% of the construction at Disney. People freak out, get all up in arms but in reality, it turns out to be a non-event. There are some exceptions but they are that, exceptions. The norm is Disney makes the construction as invisible and/or of as little impact as they can, so it's a non-event.

Totally agree! We were going through some photos today of our trip and it wasn't until we got to these photos off the balcony that we even remembered there was construction.

Has anyone else stayed in or near this room since our trip in April? I would love to see the view now.
