Wilderness lodge Construction question!??

Hi All, so my favoriate resort is WL and I know they are doing major renovations at VWL so when I called to book my trip at another resort my mind wasn't on WL at all. However, the gentleman offered me club level at wilderness lodge for my trip in July at a nice discount. So I have a few questions? Is club level currently under renovation? I heard that there is a tempory location setup? I was under the impression that only the villas were having work done, but is there other construction going on in the main WL building? thanks so much!

Half of the Main Lodge is behind construction walls. Many amenities, such as the beach, kids club etc are unavailable. The linked thread has the full details.

I don't think the pool is available, which is why I didn't look twice at it for our summer trip ! :-(

Main pool and splash area is open. The Villas pool is currently a dirt pit.

No one knows for sure as Disney rarely releases specifics on construction. If I had to proffer a guess, however, I'd say it won't be complete. They're completely remodeling the south wing of the main Lodge in order to put in DVC suites there (again, not confirmed due to legalities, but everyone figures as much), and to believe they'll be done by January is a stretch. While they could conceivably finish with the refurbished CL by then, my gut tells me they won't re-open it until they begin to release points for the new DVC suites there. Again, it's all speculation at this point.

Well, there's plenty of guessing and theorizing going on, and much of it has basis in realistic expectations given DVC's building history. Further, having been there within the past few months myself and conversing with others who have been there more recently, it seems that the amount of work still left to accomplish is daunting. The south wing rooms were gutted to the studs. The old location for the Hidden Springs pool (and roughly the spot where the new quiet pool will go) is now the staging area for the majority of the work being done, so it appears the new pool will be the last thing to go in. The cabins spaces have been roughed out and it looks as though piping is being installed. Of course, many pictures now show the building that has taken over what used to be beach. All of that work is going to take time. Again, they could very well finish the CL area first to set the stage for what's to come. I tend to fall in the more pessimistic camp that believes the milestones will be snail-paced until a flurry of activity at the end.
