Wildernees Lodge Sold Out My Dates for FREE DDP

I have been trying to get a ressie here since the Monday FD opened for Chase members and no go! Currently booked at POFQ, but call every day cancellations.
My dates are 8/30-9/3.
I thought we could have a thread and see who can get in and can't.

Same here, been trying for 9/19-9/24, no luck. I end up getting stuck with CBR, but am wondering if I should switch to POR. I really wanted to stay at WL, hopefully something comes up soon.

We tried to get into standard view room for 9/7 - 9/15 with no luck. We had our TA put us at CBR as a backup on Tuesday. Wednesday she she tried again with no luck. Wednesday afternoon my wife and I decided to ask her to look at WL lodge again for any room courtyard or below and still no luck. Finally we asked her to look at AKL and see what she could do on Thursday evening. Surprisingly on Thursday night she called at 8 pm she got us a standard view at AKL. We expected nothing and figured we would have to go up in category to get it, but were presently surprised!!

Based on everything you see here it is hard to believe the room was available, maybe some one had just cancelled or maybe we just had the exact right nights. Good luck and keep trying, maybe some magic will happen in the next week as people have to pay the deposit and decide to cancel. We can always hope this will open up a room for you.

I called on 4/12, hoping for WL, and all they had was concierge, which was out of our budget. I ended up booking CBR, which was fine, but it would be our 3rd stay there and we wanted something different. I went online on Sat morning, and there was a WL woods view available. Yahoo!!! I called Disney right away, and was told, no sorry, there is no availability at WL. I said, I am looking at it online right now. She said, Nope, sorry.... you must be looking at the regular booking site, not the free dining site. She said if you can book it online, do it, and then call back to cancel CBR. That is what I did. I thought it was REALLY weird that I would be able to see availability online, and the Disney CM could not. When I called back to cancel CBR (and verify free dining in WL) that CM thought it was very odd too. Who knows? The moral of the story is... Don't give up hope!! Keep trying! I did see somewhere on the boards that you should try 10-14 days after the Free Dining booking date started, because the courtesy hold expires if the deposit has not been received. Just look every day, look online, call...you never know!!! Good luck! I hope everyone gets their wish!

I was one of the lucky ones that got WL when I called early monday morning. We got a bunkbed courtyard view room for 9/3 - 9/8 This is a surprise for the kids - and our first stay at WL

I am showing availability at the AKL for 8/30 to 9/3...
WL courtyard view for 8/31 to 9/3 .Maybe you could switch over?
Or if your dates are flexible both woods view and courtyard view are avail 8/31 to 9/4..
