i say both!!! have you guys seen the mosaics that one of the ladies makes on the main boards out of all of the pictures people send to her? they are really truly amazing. does anyone know how to do this? maybe when we come back we can make one of just our cruise for all of us, what do you think?

Well, now you spoiled my surprise! Actually, DW and I discussed this after we ordered our poster of the ship mosaic (I had multiple pictures in there). The software he uses is freeware, and I had thought about doing something for our group after we get back. Have everyone give me a CD with all of their pictures on it (the ones that they would be willing to share) and then do a mosaic of it and have CafePress do the printing for us.

Oh, BTW, here is a pic of DW and I on our 11/04 cruise. I didn't know if I had it in photobucket or not, but just checked. Don't let it scare you too bad!

Good Wednesday morning: Well its raining here in Chicagoland area. Which I really dont have a problem with. We need the rain and its doing wonders for my garden. I have tons of tomatoes. Boy when they are ready to to picked, I am going to be in trouble...

I like the idea of doing something with our pictures. I think that would be such a great keepsake of all our new friends.

I dont have to be at work until 1pm today. I have to work 4 hours on Saturday so "no overtime". But I am enjoying my free morning.

Hello Everyone,
I am coming to realize that is week is not my week . I just did a load of wash and my washing machine decided to make brown marks all over my DS clothes. And he has such CUTE clothes. I only lost a few bids and sleep and plays. It seems to DH that we are going to Sears tonight to get a new one!! I am telling you when you own a house it is one thing after other!! Well I am off to Kohl's to get some more sleep and play outfits and bids for DS. What a day and it is only 8:30am!! I hope it get better !!!

I think I read somewhere in this thread about limo companies.....so is Happy Limo the one to go with or should I research others?

Lynn, My parents had this problem and it may not be the washing machine but it could be your water supply. It turns out the street sweepers came through one day and it somehow affected their water supply. They called the water authority, they came, checked it out and gave them some sort of detergent that removed the brown stains caused by the water....just a thought.

Woogal, The idea of posting a spreadsheet would be great. I don't know if I've shared our room #, let me know if you need more info on us.

I am find with the spreadsheet. Thanks to everyone for posting their pics - it is really great seeing people 'in person'. I am really sick of this project I am working on at work and the cruise can't get here soon enough! 4 months doesn't seem too bad. The only bad thing is that means it will also almost be winter.

The link is in the thread about the DIS photomosaics that was started by rtphokie. I have not gone back and looked at the link and the actual software as yet, but I am pretty sure I remember him stating it is freeware. Then, he teamed up with a company called Cafe Press that will do the prints on an as-needed basis with no minimums required. I think I paid about $20 including shipping for a poster sized copy of the ship mosaic that he created. You can order cards, mugs, etc. from them.

I posted some questions regarding limo companies. I had "booked" with FL tours, but wasnt happy with the attitude I got on the phone when booking, plus we are a party of 13 and he was charing per person in the van. It was about 70.00 more than what I had seen on their web site. I called HappyLimo and they were very nice and more accomadating. So I booked with them. One van will fit our whole party plus our luggage. It was 381.00 round trip. So I booked with them and cancelled FL tours.

Well it is going to be a VERY HOT day here in NY We are heading into a heatwave !! Well today we are going to Sears to get a new washer and dryer. Well I hope everyone has a good day and stay cool !!

Lynn: We are going to do the mosaic after the cruise with pictures that everyone takes on the cruise. So, at this point we don't need anything.

Hope everyone is having a great week. It has been a good week even though I am traveling. I am in south Georgia very close to where a lot of my aunts & uncles live. So, last night I was able to have dinner with them and enjoy a real home cooked country meal. I had peas, creamed corn, cornbread, mashed potatoes, country fried steak, and homemade banana pudding (not that instant stuff)! I was one happy camper! Of course, it didn't fit on my diet, but I wasn't turning down that stuff!

Supposed to be in the mid-90s AGAIN today down here. I had to go out and buy a small desk fan yesterday because our office has a huge window that makes it very hot.

Hello everyone!

We are up in Traverse City, MI this week on a family vacation. It was a great practice-run for packing for the cruise!

It took my first free 20 minutes of Internet just to get caught up with posts! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to view the pictures, so I can't wait to see them.

I'm working on this project and decided that the easiest way for me to do it is on one of my graphics programs. That means that when finished, I will convert it to a pdf and e-mail it to whomever wants a copy. Everyone should be able to view a pdf on your computer.
