Good Monday morning, everyone! :)

Bill and I sat down yesterday and made detailed notes of what the schedule is for the entire cruise and what we want to do on which day. Went thru each Navigator we have, plus our DCL info and our Passporter. At this point, we have St. Maarten's down, and considering the Coki Beach/Coral World at St. Thomas. However, I've just spent the past -- HOUR! (yes Bob, I don't have any "work" to do :rolleyes1 ) -- reviewing some other options on St. Thomas. There are a couple of tours that are very highly recommended by others ... a couple of locals named Godfrey and Sunny Liston. I've been looking at their sights and apparently they give really great full-service tours that include shopping, island tour, and beach time at any of the beaches, plus get you back to the ship. Apparently, both Godfrey and Sunny are quite the characters and the tours are fun and interactive. So I'm still investigating those.

As far as excursions go, DW and I have only talked about one and that is one of the Sail & Snorkel excursions on St. Thomas. Ron has a recommendation for that (Golden Eagle I believe) and that is the one we will be booking. On St. Maarten, not sure what we are going to do just yet. I really want to do a beach, but I also want to make it to the French side briefly to look around

Golden Eagle is on St. Maarten. We are looking at that as well.

 Good Monday morning: Working tlhe late shift today, I may not get back on the boards...we'll see.

Anyway, there is talk in our group about doing the Coral world/Coki beach. St Maarten, not sure yet. DH is talking about Orient beach, have not made a full commitment yet on that. :confused3

Well I have to start getting ready for work, plus I have a dentist appt. before I get to work...yuk

Have a good Monday...and thanks for the feed back on FL tours

Dutchsmommy – (You may already know this from the Passporter, but) You don’t want to book Palo the first three nights. When you get to Animator’s the first time they do a show, the second time you go they don’t. You don’t want Dutch to miss out on Sorcerer Mickey.

We have decided to do lunch at Palo. My son really enjoys eating in the Dinning Rooms with us, so if he wants to actually spend time with us boring grown-ups I will let him. He usually spends all day in the pool anyway.

Excursions – in St. Maarten we are hopefully going to go on the Golden Eagle Catamaran at 7:45 a.m. Which will leave us time to look around both sides of the island before we have to get on the boat.

In St. Thomas it is between Maagens Bay Beach Break (probably on our own, I have heard great things about this beach) or Doubloon Sail & Snorkel (we love pirates).

Anywho, I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Tonya,
Maagens bay is awesome . my sister was married there last October attached is a photo.
We haven't really looked at excursions in detail yet, DH wants to snorkel but the boys don't so he may do that on his own and I will take the kids. We do plan on going to Palo for dinner and brunch if we can book it.

Hey Wendy....THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!! :furious:GRRRRRRRRR...... 4 months 12 days...and I just had myself convinced that this is really no big deal....yeah, warm sunny weather, a few days at sea, a few good shows---a drink or two here and there, ...nothin I couldn't do in the veritable "paradise" of Akron Ohio. Now you go and post a pic like that!!! Wahhhh....I wanna go now!!!

ok, all outta my system....

If Ron is able to work his "Magic" through his connections, our rotation will be PLA. This will put is in Luiere's for Formal Night (Sunday) and in Parrot's Cay for Pirate Night (Tuesday). I think that Thursday is Semi-Formal (Lobster) night. Hope that helps!

PLA is the rotation of choice on this sailing......once we see how many I'll make a call to my "girlfriend". There is power in numbers.....and yes we DID do the Golden eagle in 03 and loved it. I believe we did the early sailing around 10 a.m. then went walking around by the shopping district.....only bad thing about the Golden Eagle thru DCL.....yes, beer and rum punch IS included.....but, only after you stop at the island!!!! Bummer :sad2: Of all the sailings the girls liked that excursion the best.....the front of the boats are mesh like a prampoline and the water splashes up and thru.....there second favorite was the catamaran beach party at GC on the Western in 04...

Good morning everyone,
It is a quiet day around here today.
Lots of heat and still no rain to speak of.

I am hoping to look for a few pieces of cruise clothing later today.
Have a good day everyone,
Kathy

Good Morning Everyone,
It is another hot :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: day here in NY. You can reach 105 today!! Way to hot to bring the baby out so we are hanging out in the A/C today. I miss winter on days like this :thumbsup2 !!!! Well I am going to do a little things around the house!! Here a few pictures of my DS.

Lynn: Cute pictures!

Okay, looks like DW and I are going to do the Doubloon on St. Maarten. Ron has so highly recommended it that I can't pass up the opportunity. Will do the early one so that we can get back and explore the island some as well!

Well, the heat index in Atlanta will once again top 100 today. Actual high is supposed to be 96 or 97. And, I drive a black car. Don't you know that will be fun this afternoon! :sunny:

Hope everyone is having a great week! (Hey, where did that come from?)

Good morning everyone!

It's "only" supposed to be in the mid-upper 80's here today! :cool1: We had some strong storms last night and we were without power for over 5 hours.

Looks like I have some catching up to do!
1. Excursions -- haven't really planned anything yet. We may try things on our own -- just not sure. One more thing to obsess about! :lmao: Great picture of paradise to further torment me!!
2. Dinner rotation. OK, I think I missed the proverbial boat here -- too many      :rotfl2: . What exactly does it mean to "link" reservations? I think I was supposed to email someone in our group about this, but I forgot! (Again I plead "   -itis!!") We are supposed to have late seating, if that helps. Thanks for clarifying this for me!! :confused3
3. Lynn -- more great pictures! :) Keep 'em coming!
4. Door signs, pirate costumes -- haven't even thought that far ahead yet!!! :rotfl:

Better get to work! Have a great day all! :thumbsup2

Cheri: Those of us who are doing late dining are going to try and link our reservations. What this means is that we will be seated together as much as possible, depending on group size, and that we will have the same dining rotation. Lampskies is going to use his charm to try and get us PLA rotation so that we will be in Lumiere's for Formal Night and Pirate's Cay for Pirate night.

Since Ron can't make the call until late October (I think that is right), it isn't critical that you commit yet. You may want to watch a little more and see if you REALLY want to dine with this group for 7 nights! ;)

Hello Everyone,

Gosh....I've been away from the boards for awhile, I need to catch up. This summer is so hectic between work, BBQs, yard work, birthday parties it's crazy!!! Hope everyone is staying cool. It's a sunny & Humid 94 on Long island. Andy & I feel so much better about the cruise since we were able to secure our air reservations last week since Southwest finally opened their bookings through Dec. 10th. We had free roundtrip tics to use and unfortunately we couldn't get the early flight we wanted so we'll be landing in Orlando 6:30pm on the 24th.....no visit to Kennedy Space Center :guilty: We'll just have to catch that next time.

I have to have Andy post a pic of us (since I'm a little challenged when it comes to that stuff). It's so nice to see all of your pics and to put names with faces.

Happy Tuesday!

Danielle

Hello Everyone,
Well Good afternoon everyone     !!
I was reading the boards and people were "link" reservations for the late seating. Does anybody want to do that with us for the early seating :thumbsup2 ??? And how do you go about linking the reservations??
Talk to you tomorrow   !!
Lynn princess:

Lynn.
The pictures were great!

Danielle,
glad to hear from you again, hope you can post a picture soon. It has been fun to see everyones pictures.

Lots of thunder right now, but no rain,
Kathy

:dance3: Hello fellow Turkey's: How is everyones day going? Well its Tuesday evening another crazy day over. Not much going on here.
Just going to sit and watch some TV :happytv: and chill a little. It was so hectic at work today.

Well have a great evening everyone.

yea :cheer2: one more day closer. :Pinkbounc

WEll, I wrote a long winded reply and got thrown off line and lost it, so i'll try again tomorrow.

in short - early seating, yes, willing to link (there's just us two, dh & I). hoping for the latest early seating if it's still 'interval' seating. PLA would be great but as long as we get fed, we'll survive.

no excursions chosen yet - i'm some what mobility impaired. We took a taxi to the beach in Cozumel, and I rode the local bus around the island in Grand Cayman. Wonder if it's possible to do something similar on the Eastern?

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say hi and see ya in a week DS and I leave :moped: in the morning for our Alaskan trip. :cool1: Talk to ya'll soon.
Wendy

PS Mutt here's a few for the road

Wendy,
have a great trip and tell us all about it when you get back. :thumbsup2

Hope everyone is having a good morning.

I was happy to hear that most people seem to be ok on the carnival ship that had problems. That would be so scary to experience. I am surprised that nobody was thrown overboard with as far as it tilted. I guess a guardian angel was watching over those people. Which I am grateful for!

well have a good day everyone,

Kathy
